Role: IFS Specialist
Reports to: Senior Manager, Data Strategy & Analytics
Status: 6 Month contract with the possibility of extension
Division: Enercare Home and Commercial Services
Location: Markham, hybrid

Reporting to Senior Manager, Data Strategy & Analytics, you will play a key role in a highly visible team within the organization to advance our business as we execute our data strategy. This is a great opportunity for an individual with a passion for using data to drive insights, presenting key learnings and delivering transformational outcomes to our business. We are looking for Industrial and Financial Systems (IFS) Specialist who will help us to implement and deliver robust automation solutions across various mod Field Service Management, ERP and EAM modules

You are an inquisitive and intellectually curious individual with advanced analytics experience, excellent communications skills, good business acumen and effective change leadership. With an agile-mindset, you are obsessed with data quality and pragmatic algorithms, have a passion for understanding and integrating business semantics into technology solutions and enjoy learning our business and operations with a go-and-see mindset.

Required skills and capabilities:

• Ability to understand the integrations between IFS Solutions and external systems for development and troubleshooting
• Good understanding of Cloud and IFS On-prem hosted web services
• Working knowledge of Azure data platform, e.g., ADLS, Synapse, ADF, Databricks etc., and Azure Web Services
• Familiarity with the development and deployment of distributed web application (.NET, DCOM) architecture
• Working knowledge of ETL tools associated with Business Intelligence Application Deployment Activities
• Have an open mind and a knack to collaborate effectively across internal and external partners to further capitalize on data assets
• Apply design- and system-thinking concepts with an agile mindset to create and deploy incremental, viable data products by leveraging tools available in-house and in the open-source ecosystems
• Have a passion for understanding and integrating business semantics into technology solutions

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience working with the IFS Integration Systems
• 5+ years of experience with Database management (MS SQL Server, Azure SQL, Oracle)
• 5+ years experience working with databases, warehouses and data lakes preferably Azure SQL DB
• 2+ years hands-on experience working in a Field Service Management related industry along with thorough knowledge of working with different Business Applications
• Experience in problem solving and analytical skills to develop creative, unique, and pragmatic approaches and solutions to address complex problems
• Excellent oral and written communications skills
