This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to join our Corporate Accounting Team!

The Role: 

Reporting to the Supervisor of Accounts Payable, the Accounts Payable Specialist will support the Income Producing
Properties (IPP) Accounting and Corporate Accounting teams as part of their day-to-day responsibilities.  


What you’ll be doing: 
  • Assist the team to look after the Income Producing Properties (IPP) Accounts Payable Process (P2P) 
  • Assist with system development and testing as required (P2P)
  • Follow up on the tracking of invoices with the property management team
  • Manage coding and approvals for invoices processed outside of P2P
  • Administer monthly reconciliation of vendor statements, review of AP aging reports
  • Manage vendor inquiries
  • Assist with Development and Corporate payables as needed

About you:
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of full cycle Accounts Payable
  • Highly organized
  • Can effectively prioritize and multi-task multiple deadlines
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment without sacrifice to quality of work
  • Takes a positive approach to responsibilities and interpersonal interactions
  • Is a team player while also able to work well independently
  • Is detail oriented and possesses good analytical skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills
Skills considered an asset:
  • Yardi 7S experience
  • Experience in the Real Estate industry
  • Strong Excel skills
