The Role:
Reporting to the Supervisor of Accounts Payable, the Accounts Payable Specialist will support the Income Producing Properties (IPP) Accounting and Corporate Accounting teams as part of their day-to-day responsibilities.
What you’ll be doing:
- Assist the team to look after the Income Producing Properties (IPP) Accounts Payable Process (P2P)
- Assist with system development and testing as required (P2P)
- Follow up on the tracking of invoices with the property management team
- Manage coding and approvals for invoices processed outside of P2P
- Administer monthly reconciliation of vendor statements, review of AP aging reports
- Manage vendor inquiries
- Assist with Development and Corporate payables as needed
About you:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of full cycle Accounts Payable
- Highly organized
- Can effectively prioritize and multi-task multiple deadlines
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment without sacrifice to quality of work
- Takes a positive approach to responsibilities and interpersonal interactions
- Is a team player while also able to work well independently
- Is detail oriented and possesses good analytical skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
