The Salesforce Developer Analyst position is responsible for aspects of assigned Salesforce projects and applications, including business analysis undertaken with customers, Salesforce solution development, deployment, and support. Work is usually performed without direction but is guided by project goals and your team lead. The position is expected to exhibit original approaches to solve complex and often Salesforce development problems.
This position may mentor less experienced teammates. Employees in this role will be provided with an understanding of customer requirements, with the position designing and implementing Salesforce solutions to meet customer needs. The position interacts with customers, ISM management and ISM technical teams.
Responsibilities:
A Salesforce Developer Analyst will enhance/maintain business relationships with customers, typically by:
- Analyzing requirements, designing, coding, testing, and implementing Salesforce Solutions from specifications.
- Providing positive leadership to team members and customers.
- Coordinating with other projects to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Lead business and technical requirement gathering
- Data gathering, analysis and reporting using various tools and methods.
- Facilitation of requirement gathering and problem-solving sessions
- Analyzing requirements, designing, testing and implementing programs from specifications.
- Assist with preparation & delivery of presentations related to current & future ISM services and processes.
- Create and maintain documentation for all projects, processes, products, and solutions utilizing established templates and processes.
- Assisting with the creation of detailed schedules and controlling the production of assigned project deliverables.
- Professionally preparing, presenting, and explaining products and service components to customers.
- Assisting in the training of customers or ISM employees on the use of computer systems or related topics.
Qualifications:
- University Degree Bachelors in Computer Science required (an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered).
- 2 to 3 years hands on experience with Java or .Net developing N-Tier solutions and/or 2 to 4 years hands on experience developing, deploying, and supporting Salesforce solutions.
- Certification in one of the following is required (an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered):
- Platform Developer 1
- Omnistudio Developer
- Industries CPQ Developer
- Hands on experience demonstrated in-depth knowledge of JavaScript, Apex, Visualforce and LWC (Lightening Web Component) an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Hands-on experience with Flows, Process builder and ability to articulate bulk Triggers.
- Experience with DEVOPS and automated integration.
- In-depth knowledge of computer fundamentals including computer environments and operating systems; system architecture; compile and execution functions; data structures, formats, and storage media; and programing languages.
- Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming techniques, and structured analysis, design, and programming techniques.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to design and implement solutions.
- Skills and abilities acceptable to the client.
Key Skills & Abilities:
- Business Analyst certification (CCBA/CBAP) considered an asset.
- Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of applications software engineering tools and techniques, and structure analysis, design, and programming techniques considered an asset.
- Certified Salesforce Sales and/or Service Cloud Consultant considered an asset.
- Demonstrated capacity for increasing responsibility and accountability.
- Good interpersonal and leadership skills.
