Position type:  Part-time, permanent (20 hours /week)

Position Overview
The Office Administrative Assistant will support the FamilyLife Canada team with daily office duties, allowing the team to function and serve God with greater capacity.

In this role, you will be responsible to achieve the following objectives:
  • Provide friendly and professional customer service - answering questions through telephone calls, emails and social media
  • Ensure customers receive a high level of service by maintaining and updating the registrant database in Cvent or similar software, MailChimp and Hubspot
  • Assist office and field staff through general clerical duties which may include providing requested information, photocopying, mailing, filing and initiating financial deposits and accounts payable.
  • Track inventory for FamilyLife materials and supplies 
  • Maintain event data - including evaluations - and follow up as directed
  • Provide support for and oversee administrative details for various FamilyLife events, training and conferences
  • Provide support for marketing events, which can include printing, prepping and shipping material for events
  • Support FamilyLife team efforts through researching and purchasing requested supplies and materials
  • Coordinating seasonal mailouts such as donor cards and marketing materials.
  • Provide helpful resources by sharing FamilyLife content through the website and social media platforms with direction from the Marketing Director.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned by National Directors, Director of Operations, and Marketing Director

About You
  • You have a deep, growing, intimate relationship with Jesus Christ
  • You have a genuine desire to see people’s lives transformed by Jesus a focused passion for families
  • You have previous office administrative experience
  • You are highly organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated
  • You have an excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • You are able to multitask and handle different projects and changing priorities
  • You have intermediate/Expert knowledge of Google Suite and Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Power Point. 
  • You are highly proficient in online database management software and video conferencing systems
  • You have experience using WordPress and Adobe Creative Suite (considered an asset)
