The Front-End Developer is primarily responsible for the implementation of effective visual elements of IPG North American brand websites. The successful candidate will closely work with the Ecosystem, marketing communications, and digital marketing teams. This role is ideal for someone who takes initiative, is a self-learner, is resourceful, and can work independently. The work done in this role will provide a better user experience for site visitors, resulting in more conversions and sales revenue.
Job Location: Remote work is not available in AK, MT, HI (US) and Quebec, Nunavut, NW Territories, Yukon (Canada)

Job Responsibilities:
- Work alongside architects, backend developers, UX/UI visual designers, and product owners
- Markup and script interfaces on AEM Cloud, to create responsive websites/systems that work flawlessly on desktop, tablet, phone, and other devices
- Work with various front-end libraries, JavaScript, Typescript, ReactJS, etc.
- Work with AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) Cloud
- Create events and listeners on content and interaction to produce meaningful reporting (Google Analytics, Adobe Marketing Suite, and other conversion tags)
- Deliver a scalable front-end AEM solution for both short term and long-term business use cases
- Work alongside technical and non-technical team members to implement and maintain DAM, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Launch, and Adobe Target
- Deliver products and apps that are based on pre-existing wireframes, designs, or other client requirements
- Document front-end code accurately with great technical proficiency
- Work alongside Digital SEO team to implement Technical SEO elements on the website for SEO optimization
- Other duties as assigned
Education/Experience:
- Degree/Diploma in Website Development, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience
- 4+ years building sites using: CMS, HTML5, CSS3, Sass CSS, Less CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Typescript and React
- 3+ years’ experience maintaining and administering AEM sites
- 3+ years’ experience with creating designs systems, and Clientlibs architecture in AEM
- Experience utilizing BitBucket, GitHub, Jira, and Confluence
- Knowledge of Patterns and Good Practices to design and develop quality clean code
- Understanding of the overall AEM Architecture
- Understanding of SEO best practices
Required Qualifications (Certifications, Licenses, Software Programs, KSA’s):
- Post-secondary education in Computer Science/Programming/Front-end Development
- Certifications on Front-end Development
- Portfolio demonstrating Front-end development works
- Additional Qualifications:
- Skilled in troubleshooting, fixing bugs
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to seek input when needed
- Able to work in an agile environment
- Display a high sense of urgency and react quickly to ever-changing business needs
