Director, Brand Marketing

The remote Director, Brand Lead will be the champion for the 24Petprotect, 24Petwatch and NVA insurance product portfolios reporting into the Sr. Director Marketing Strategy and Planning. In collaboration with the cross functional teams, you will develop, manage, and execute the annual marketing plan to drive profitable growth of the portfolio. The Brand Lead will be responsible for creating engaging marketing programs to drive portfolio growth specifically through improvements to prospect funnel performance and enhancements of the user journey.
The ideal candidate is a proven marketer who is equally comfortable developing innovative strategies as they are at diving deep into the details to ensure the smooth execution of campaigns and go-to-market strategies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute annual marketing plans in partnership with cross functional teams to achieve corporate objectives.
- Lead the development and execution of targeted insurance marketing campaigns utilizing data insights and learnings.
- Partner with marketing team to deploy marketing campaigns
- Create and evolve a differentiated value proposition for 24Pet and NVA Insurance brands that work alongside other IPG insurance brands.
- Responsible for ongoing optimization strategy to improve user experience resulting in sales conversions.
- Ensure disciplined KPI establishment, measurement, and analysis to fuel insights and future marketing opportunities.
- Prepare and present performance metrics on a weekly/monthly basis including recommendations for optimizations.
- Measure, monitor and manage the campaigns based on a variety of KPIs including conversions, CPA and ROI.
- Leverage competitive intelligence and best practices with other to fuel innovative thinking and new opportunities to test and learn.
- Support the day-to-day relationships with cross functional teams including Marketing, Product, Sales, and Regulatory to influence product and communication strategies.
- Manage marketing budget and optimize marketing spend.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in marketing or product management, with a solid understanding of digital marketing
- Be a driven individual with the desire to actively own their KPIs and their projects.
- Deep knowledge of the insurance industry to support development of positioning and messaging that clearly differentiates from other brands and demonstrates a clear understanding of consumers’ needs and pain points.
- Strong communicator, oral and written.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to lead multi-stakeholder groups to develop and execute campaigns.
- A positive collaborator with the ability to work with different functional areas (operations, finance, compliance, data, customer service, creative teams)
- Proven project management and organizational skills. Ability to multi-task, as well and do what it takes to get the job done.
- Knowledgeable about marketing functions (e.g. digital marketing, email journeys, content strategy, social media) and the role each plays in a successful marketing organization
- Positive, professional and responsible attitude, independent and self-directed with a strong ability to work collaboratively with peers and senior leadership.
- Comfortable with respectfully challenging the status quo, development and implementation of marketing strategies and, insight-based planning, campaign strategy, and executional expertise.
