IT Analytics - Data Analyst

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Data Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering and analyzing business data to provide insights and recommendations that will help drive business decisions. The ideal candidate should have working experience with Snowflake, be proficient in Power BI, SQL and other relevant data analysis tools.
Job Location: Remote work is not available in AK, MT, HI (US) and Quebec, Nunavut, NW Territories, Yukon (Canada)
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement data analysis strategies and processes that support business objectives
- Gather, analyze and interpret data from various sources to identify trends and insights
- Design and develop analytical reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Power BI
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand their business needs and develop custom reports and solutions that meet those needs
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency and completeness
- Continuously monitor and optimize data quality, completeness, and consistency
- Communicate insights and recommendations to business stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
- Provide guidance and support to business stakeholders to enable self-service reporting
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices and emerging technologies in business intelligence and data analysis
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or related field
- At least 3-4 years of working experience in Business Intelligence/Data Analysis
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Power BI and other data analysis tools
- Working experience with Snowflake
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
