Sydney Animal Hospital has been serving the community of Cape Breton and their furry friends for over 40 years. Our outstanding 2 doctor and 4 technician team understand the importance of pets in our lives, and strive to provide the highest quality of medicine and surgery in a compassionate and caring atmosphere with the latest technologies and equipment. We were the first in Cape Breton to computerize our patient files and purchase complete in-house diagnostic equipment from IDEXX. In addition, we provided the first direct digital radiology service in all of Atlantic Canada. 

Locally, we are the only provider of cold laser physiotherapy and laser surgery. In 2006, we were the Atlantic Regional Winner of the Veterinarian Team Appreciation Award presented by Bayer Health Care and Pets Magazine.
