SCOPE OF JOB

The Automotive Delivery Specialist is responsible for working in close collaboration with the sales administrator, and ensuring a smooth and seamless delivery experience for customers. This includes verifying that the vehicle matches the customer order, collecting trade-in ownership, performing physical inspections of both new and trade in vehicles, scheduling delivery appointments, executing deliveries, and collecting final payment.

RESPONSIBILITIES & KEY ACTIVITIES: 

  • Prepare vehicle for customer delivery, this includes mounting license plate to new car, print the document necessary for the delivery, verifying vehicle accessories and vehicle specifications to match the order.
  • Monitor delivery appointments in the store delivery calendar & communicate with customers as needed.
  • Verify the customer’s chosen settings have been set up as specified.
  • Greet and welcome the customer for the delivery of their vehicle.
  • Giving explanations of the different features of the vehicle.
  • Collect any outstanding payments due on delivery.
  • Perform a physical inspection of the trade-in vehicle to validate vehicle condition is as described and collect associated documentation
  • Additional duties as required.

WHAT YOU BRING ALONG: 

  • Knowledge of automotive sales and delivery processes.
  • Ability to operate vehicles and perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Experience with MS office is an asset.
  • Ability to work evening hours, weekends, and holidays.
