VinFast Auto Canada Inc. an OEM distribution company with a Direct-to-Consumer business model, has an ambitious growth strategy planning rapid retail and aftersales facility expansion in Canada over the next 12 months. SCOPE OF THE JOB

The Used Vehicle Manager is entrusted with supporting the remarketing strategy for both Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) vehicles and trade-ins, ensuring meticulous labeling and streamlined processes for pre-owned vehicles. Operating across departments and dealers, this role facilitates clear communication and efficient processes among facets involved in the sales process. Remarketing activities serve as a vital conduit for upholding VinFast's commitment to sustainability. 

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

• Coordinate and collaborate with external market partners (OpenLane/TradeRev, CBB, etc.) 
• Support Remarketing initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and streamline processes. 
• Assist in nationwide sales processes by providing coaching and training support to key sales staff across multiple markets.
• Provide direct support for the Trade-in process, aiding in trade-in evaluations and internal presentations. 
• Facilitate the release of liens and procure relevant documentation for each unit. 
• Support future pre-owned product/CPO functions and campaigns. 
• Offer CPO support for franchised dealers. 
• Support North American financial services / remarketing needs as required

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR

• 2-5 years of progressive experience in vehicle renting, leasing, and CPO/Remarketing programs. 
• Understanding of Residual Values calculation, measurement, impacts, and effects in both financing and OEM environments. 
• Knowledge and comprehension of automotive EV products, marketing, and remarketing/wholesale activities. 
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting. 
• Demonstrated ability to foster strong relationships within leadership, diverse teams, internal stakeholders, peers, and external partners. 
• Insight into the used car retail customer buying experience and technology facilitating the purchasing process. 
• Customer-focused with exceptional collaboration skills. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication, and presentation skills.
