SCOPE OF JOB: 

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Automotive Sales Trainer to join our team. The Sales Trainer will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive training programs to enhance the sales skills and performance of our automotive sales team. This role requires a deep understanding of automotive sales processes, excellent communication skills, and a passion for coaching and developing others.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS: 

  • Develop and deliver engaging and effective training programs tailored to the specific needs of our automotive sales team.
  • Conduct regular training sessions, workshops, and role-playing exercises to improve sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer service skills.
  • Collaborate with sales managers to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted training initiatives to address them.
  • Provide one-on-one coaching and mentoring to sales team members to reinforce learning and drive individual performance improvement.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, best practices, and new technologies in automotive sales to continuously enhance training content and delivery methods.
  • Utilize feedback and performance data to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and adjust as needed.
  • Develop and maintain training materials, resources, and documentation to support ongoing learning and development efforts.
  • Assist in onboarding and orientation of new sales team members, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed for success.
  • Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in automotive sales, with a minimum of 3-5 years of successful sales experience.
  • Previous experience in sales training, coaching, or leadership roles preferred.
  • Strong understanding of automotive sales processes, customer relationship management (CRM) systems, and dealership operations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts and ideas to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire others to achieve their full potential.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with a passion for continuous learning and personal development.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software applications.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed to conduct training sessions at various dealership locations
